Volunteer with Canyonlands!

All are welcome.

Join Canyonlands’ Outreach and Restoration teams weekly to protect and revitalize San Diego’s urban canyons. Engage in meaningful work like reducing fire fuels, removing invasive plants, and nurturing native species. Help transform local landscapes into thriving wildflower meadows and resilient ecosystems!

While we host events at various locations, many of our weekly Saturday mornings take place along the City Heights Canyon Loop Trail, an ecological corridor and community treasure. Established in 2012, the trail connects diverse canyons, offering nearby nature for residents and supporting San Diego’s unique biodiversity. Your efforts help these spaces thrive for future generations!
