Transforming Lives & Landscapes
ECO (Environmental Career Opportunities) empowers individuals from historically underserved communities by offering comprehensive, paid green job training. This program is designed to uplift justice-impacted individuals, those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and opportunity youth. By fostering meaningful professional development, ECO creates pathways to environmental careers while driving equity and resilience in underserved and underrepresented communities.
Coordinated Network
Canyonlands ECO program provides individuals with living wage stipend, consistent work hours, on the job training, professional and community interaction opportunities, and daily lunch for field intensive workdays, allowing participants to re-enter the workforce with a regained confidence in themselves and others.
We do this through a coordinated network of agency partners, sponsors, and corporate collaborators.
