San Diego County Biodiversity Working Group…
assembled a community taskforce capable of examining the wide scope proposed for the San Diego County Native Landscape Program, dozens of contributors including representatives from tribal and other local communities, from municipalities and environmental agencies, biologists, restoration ecologists, professional horticulturalists, landscape architects & designers, landscape contractors, local nursery managers, nature educators, university representatives, school district representatives, water district representatives, environmental and equity nonprofit representatives, and horticultural luminaries known for their work on sustainability and promoting habitat in landscaping.
A strategic and equitable vision…
for a County-wide native landscaping program that will support local conservation goals and provide new opportunities for communities to connect with nature through their own landscapes. This vision plan was created by a community taskforce of dozens of professionals and community representatives from all parts of San Diego County.
