Bringing the community together
With funding from Wells Fargo in partnership with Community HousingWorks, this path became a safe and beautiful place to visit.
Before
The creek and path alongside were overgrown with invasive arundo (Arundo donax) and fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), making it unsafe and unpleasant.
During
Community members from the Bandar Salaam apartments nearby came to help remove the invasive species and pick up trash.
After
Auburn Creek is now a beautiful and safer place to walk in this community.
