Since its grassroots beginnings, Canyonlands has been dedicated to restoring and protecting San Diego’s urban open spaces.

Our restoration efforts are science-driven, grant-supported, and implemented in collaboration with regional partners and environmental organizations. Each project is thoughtfully designed by experienced restoration ecologists and carried out using sustainable practices that promote long-term ecosystem health and resilience.
